In simple terms this means that you can no longer push your product out to the public, people don’t respond well to being sold. You need to concentrate on creating marketing campaigns that PULL people into your business. Pulling people into your business is accomplished when you offer useful information, tools and resources that attract people to your business and it’s website, while interacting and developing relationships with consumers on the web.

    I have met Dale and he is awesome guy with a lot of information. He sets the bar pretty high. I hope to see him again at the RETSO conf in Atlanta. My favorite dale quote is” Don’t try to do 365 things. It is hard and you have to be committed to it”

    I am a firm believer that we as realtors and most all sales people drill down to the micro level. We need to be experts in our area or community. It is not about being #1 on Google when someone types in Homes in SC. We want to be #1 when someone types in Lexington SC homes. We want to have the most amount of creditable information out there for the consumer. We want to be their friend and expert in our area. We must use all our tools such as FB, Twitter, 4 Square, Blogs, and everything else pushing content that the buyer wants to know. The consumer doesn’t want cookie cutter information about SC. The consumer wants to know where the best sushi restaurant is and what the schools are like. People in sales need to push content specific to the audience. I have been working with realtors and others to share this message. It is easy to grasp and not costly. The hard part is the systems and the follow up. Good luck and live long and prosper.
